California Professional Civil Engineers – Structural Project Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- This position is an excellent opportunity for a recently licensed civil engineer to work side-by-side with an experienced structural engineer. Project types vary in complexity – from designing small residential remodels to assisting with construction oversight inspections of multi-million-dollar public infrastructure/bridge improvements. Diablo has several projects where the ideal candidate will immediately be integrated into our dynamic team – working with a hands-on experienced structural engineer that will provide you with many opportunities to grow your technical and project management skills.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- California Professional Engineer
- +4 years’ experience designing or constructing bridges, buildings, and/or structural municipal infrastructure
The ideal candidate currently possesses the skills necessary to support a senior structural engineer.
- Prepare design deliverables – structural calculations, design plans, structural details, quantity estimates, cost estimates, and specifications.
- Attend field meetings, project team meetings, client meetings, community workshop meetings.
- Effectively coordinate structural designs associated with private and municipal improvement projects.
