Contracts

During the first 10 years of operation, Diablo has executed more than 200 contracts.

Teaming

Diablo is the Prime Consultant for more than 70% of the executed contracts. In addition, Diablo team members have earned an excellent reputation of organizing multidiscipline teams to achieve challenging project schedules.

As a Prime Consultant, Diablo partners with expert specialty firms and individuals – many of which we have worked side-by-side with for more than 25 years.

As a Subconsultant, Diablo consistently partners with larger engineering firms that have a strong commitment to establishing long-term collaborative relationships with small local businesses. Diablo provides meaningful design development and project coordination services to our Prime teaming partners, and we work very hard to earn the opportunity to be included on future contracts.

Major Infrastructure Improvement Projects

Even as a small local business, Diablo continues to be significantly associated with several major multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs and projects. We work on very exciting and meaningful transportation infrastructure projects!

Over several decades prior to the formation of Diablo Engineering Group, Diablo team members managed the delivery of many multidiscipline major public infrastructure projects throughout California. Building upon this prior transportation infrastructure design and management experience, the Diablo team continues to support major infrastructure projects throughout the Bay Area. Diablo is uniquely positioned to directly support public agencies as Staff support for the programming, management, design, and delivery of multi-million-dollar infrastructure programs and projects. In addition, Diablo team members provide valuable design and coordination services to large engineering firms that are responsible for delivering major infrastructure projects.

Local On-call Municipal Projects and Private Development

Diablo has the skills and expertise to manage the delivery of small and medium sized transportation engineering, transportation planning, and structural engineering design projects. These small and medium size local projects include road diets to accommodate transit lanes, bicycle lanes, cycle tracks, sidewalk, and curb ramp reconstruction; community space redevelopment to accommodate park enhancements, access to community pools and restrooms, and reconstruction of other public recreation spaces; and supporting local residential contractors and homeowners towards the remodeling of single-family homes.
